Description
NEC 2017 110.14(D) requires the use of a calibrated torque tool for connections when manufacturers indicate tightening torques. This session will discuss test data of set-screw torque, how it relates to force and its ultimate impact to connector performance. We will also review how the NEC 2017 change impacts installations and inspections.
