Today, guests will partake in the Future of Flight Aviation & Boeing Tour. This tour offers the only opportunity to tour a commercial jet assembly plant in North America. The tour is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to view 747,767,777 and 787 jets being assembled on the Everett production line before taking to the sky. Specialist guides provide fascinating facts about Boeing and the planes that bear its name.

The tour begins in the Airplane Design Zone where you will learn all about the technical nuances and design innovations of powered flight. Step up to one of the Design Zone computers to begin digitally designing a commercial jet of your own. Then “taxi” over to the Gallery Zones where you will be able to modify, test, and finalize your design at touch-screen computers before printing off the final schematic of your jet in the Future of Flight Store.

Woodinville, only 30 minutes north of Seattle, is home to over 100 wineries and tasting rooms representing all of Washington’s varietals. Today you will travel to two of Woodinville’s finest wineries and be lead through a private tasting of their best selections.

The first winery that you’ll visit is the world renowned Chateau Ste. Michelle. Once at the Chateau the group will be lead on a private tour and learn about the history of Chateau Ste. Michelle and its winemakers. Next, head into the tasting room for a sampling of four Single Vineyard & Reserve Wines.

Head to Januik Cellars for the second tasting of the day. At Januik Cellars, one of their experienced and educated wine experts will lead the group through a tasting of the cellar’s wines that are available. Januik Cellars is one of Woodinville’s hidden gems. By the end of the day, you’ll have tasted great wine and experienced the best of Woodinville.

The Locks tour takes you through the salt water of Puget Sound and the fresh water of Lake Union via the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks also known as the Ballard Locks. Enjoy the live narration of the Seattle harbor tour, then experience a trip through the Locks themselves. See how the locks work as the boat is lifted from the salt water of the Sound to the fresh water of the Lakes. As you leave the locks, you’ll learn about Seattle’s fishing communities, the Deadliest Catch boats, the Sleepless in Seattle floating home community, and Gas Works Park.
